Equipment: Ecospect
conducts inspections and risk
assessments with the aid of a Map 4 X-Ray
Fluorescence
Analyzer (XRF). This device
is capable of measuring all of the lead in
all of the layers of paint on
any given surface. Readings
or assays from the device are almost instantaneous, usually within 5 to15
seconds. There is no
residue or damage to tested surfaces. The MAP 4 allows EcoSpect personnel to conduct lead inspection in
a non-destructive, cost effective manner with results that are computer
generated and legally defensible.
